The more concrete the starting point, the faster we can be useful. Helpful details include the decision you are facing, the sector and location, any measurement or study work already completed, the timeframe you are working to, and whether there is an existing contract, permit or capital programme involved. If you are unsure what you need, say that — scoping the question properly is frequently the first piece of work.

What Happens Next

We respond with an initial view: whether this is something we can help with, what we would need to see, and roughly what kind of engagement would fit. Where an assignment is straightforward we will propose a short, defined scope rather than an open-ended retainer. Where the question is not yet answerable, we will say what would make it answerable.

Enquiries are treated as confidential. We are accustomed to working under non-disclosure agreements during procurement, transaction and regulatory processes, and we do not publish client-identifying detail from consulting engagements without permission.

Before You Write

If a previous study exists, send it. If measurement data exists, send that too, along with how and when it was collected. If neither exists, say so plainly; establishing a baseline is ordinary work and it is better to start there than to build on numbers nobody trusts.
